Who We Are

Krysalis exists to help develop faithful believers who are church-plant ready leaders and missionaries.

What is Krysalis?

The dictionary defines Chrysalis (Krysalis) as "a quiescent insect pupa of a butterfly in the transitional state". The ministry was established by Don & Kathy Harada in 2020 after a decade of actively providing humanitarian and leadership training to a small town in Baja, Mexico. As the ministry grew, Krysalis Christian Ministries was established to become more responsive to the changing needs of the ministry and to ease the coordination of activity with the partnering local churches in Southern California. What started out as a annual house build short term ministry quickly evolved to add quarterly local pastor training and a medical missions components. As the name implies, we exist to nurture individuals and churches to develop faithful leaders who aspire to attain their full potential in Christ.
